damn didn't see that and I just ordered the 256!! My thought process was SSD's are cheap lol. But that's a good value. Tempted to cancel and reorder.
As rui no onna mentioned, it's only $50 off, not $100. I misread the original price.
yea but you also get the 8 core GPU. Value Wise I think it is a better deal.

I really would prefer 16GB/1TB (which is only $40 more at Apple EDU) so I'm sitting this one out.

Personally no. I'm not doing anything taxing, though. My heavy use is pretty much just having a crap ton of browser tabs open.

Yup. Much as I've always had great experiences with Adorama (and B&H) over the years, you gotta know what you're ordering is exactly what you want. No returns on opened computers unless defective, can't change a built-to-order, etc.
Starting yesterday, lot of Apple Stores in NJ/NY have the MacBook Pro M1 SG 16GB/1TB model in stock for pickup or local delivery.
I'm using an air with the ultrafine. i'd definitely get 16gb though. Once you load the 8gb with dropbox and creative cloud, if you use a bunch of tabs (80-100+), 8gb is really rough. If you have questions, ask here and i'll answer...
