UTC time is shown in this website, and also in the NOAA website (the sub-link that shows a picture of the globe). There is a possibility of kp9 Auroras displays by April:

Sadly it needs to be a few hundred miles south for me. But they have been coming down as far as Scotland of late, so @kenoh will be fine.

Plan for a long vacation up North next winter :)
~Just kidding with you. Now, I remember one time seeing a beautiful Auroral display when at a military runway in Northern NY back in the early '80s.

Great. Should also be visible from Germany. And with perfect timing, we have solid cloud cover with rain and snow since yesterday... :(

Long vacation? I had 4 days away once in the last 10 years.
No breaks, eh?

The sky was clear, and while it wasn't very cold at 16-degree F., it was very windy. I waited for the Auroras to show from 10:00 PM last night to 2:00 AM this morning, but they weren't bright enough for me to photograph. My wife told me that they were very bright around 3:30 this morning :)

I managed to take photos of the Auroras last night starting about midnight and ending at 1:00 AM this morning. However, the lights were not as bright as usual and I had to increase the ISO to 1200 @ 4-second exposures. I could see the bright stars twinkling in the sky that were brighter than the Auroras :) The Auroras are active again tonight, but a cloud cover moved into the interior of Alaska earlier this evening. Hopefully some of you were able to take some photos.

Cloud cover and too far south here. Looking forward to seeing the results.

Someone on IG posted they would be over the Bay Area (SF California) on Wednesday and I fell for it hook, line and sinker just to find out it was an April fools day joke. Seriously, I was planning the day off lol.

I posted one at the Photo Of The Day Forum. Was afraid to get busted by the forums police :)

That's quite funny ?

Another heads-up:

The Aurora forecast for tonight is a kp-4, and then kp6 for tomorrow. But it looks that a loud-cover is moving into the interior of Alaska. Remember that UTC (Universal time) is used, and this can make a big difference in your individual time zone. For example, 01.00 hours (1:00 AM UTC), it equals 16:00 hour in Alaska, or 4:00 PM (Alaska time zone is from 8-9 hours behind). You can notice the difference at the website above (right corner near the top of the page where both UTC and AK time are shown).
