I have just bought a Labatec Headset-242. The actual headphones on it work but the microphone doesn't. I think the microphone is faulty because I tried it with my PowerBook and PC and it doesn't work on either of them. I am going to take it back tomorrow, but just before I exchange it for a different one and just to be sure, will it work with Mac's? It just plugs into the normal headphone port and microphone port. Thanks.
P.S. I did try selecting the Line in port bit in System Preferences just so you know.
