Hey!
I was browsing on reddit and I gotta ask, how do you get this view:
https://www.reddit.com/r/AppleWatch/comments/1dyq866 it's a Health app right?

Mine looks nothing like it. How do I get Awake REM Core deep on the left sidebar? Here's what I see when I open my health app:

Why aren't mine red at the top etc? I can't seem to get any of that view. This is all I get and what does that even mean? I probably have issues with sleeping too, but I also have many other issues with anxiety and stress and depression so that's normal. But how do I get more details about my sleep like the guy on reddit? Is it because my Apple Watch is the first gen SE?

I would guess it might be the device used to gather the data. The Reddit post might have extra gadgets but not sure. Never used the sleep tracker on my watch. I tend to charge it over night. But I don’t think you can read into health reasons for the difference there. I think your view is just missing the data

What gadget might that be? I was just wondering why mine looks so different.
Thanks for the reply!

Just looked through my data. I have one day in the past six months with this sort of data. It’s from Apple Watch Series 8. Most days I think it just bases it on sleep focus and when I plug things into charge and stop using any screens connected to the Apple ID.

How did you navigate to the stages screen? Interestingly enough, I don't have it. Is it because I have Apple Watch SE? Probably.
Thanks for posting the screenshot!

The stages thing was just below the graph. But yeah only data on that one day i wore the watch to bed.
Best guess is that it’s the version of watch yeah. Though I don’t know which sensors it might or might not be require on the watch for this data

Get more accurate results with your Apple Watch

If you paired your Apple Watch after completing Sleep setup, you can still turn on Track Sleep with Apple Watch. In the Watch app on your iPhone, tap the My Watch tab, then tap Sleep. Then tap Track Sleep with Apple Watch to turn on this setting. To get the most accurate results when wearing your watch to sleep:

  • Turn on Charging Reminders. On your iPhone, open the Watch app and tap the My Watch tab, then tap Sleep. Tap Charging Reminders to turn on a reminder on your Apple Watch to charge before your Wind Down time. If your watch battery dies, it won't track your sleep data.
  • Make sure that you're wearing your Apple Watch at a comfortable fit. If your watch is too loose, the accelerometer might register too much movement during your natural sleep.

* I haven’t tried the Sleep focus or sleep tracking using Apple Watch.
