Hearing Aid Type App

Hi,

I have a pair of AirPod pro headphones and I know I can use them like hearing aids sort of with “live listen,” but with I’m outside trying to listen to things, I hear a huge echo.

Can anyone point me towards an app that will allow me to use these headphones as hearing aids or amplifiers, but something with a simple way to make it so I can customize how it sounds and make it perfect?

Did anything ever happen with this for you? I’m using them not with live listen but in transparency mode (iOS 14.), with a few settings tweaked and they are producing better sound quality than my Costco Resound hearing aids. Without needing the phone as the mic. That is exciting for me.
