Having never owned a mac i have a question on flash support before my imminent purchase.
I agree with the official stance that Flash player is the biggest pile of rubbish, cpu intensive, unstable, unsecure outdated codec standard. And truely, i wish more people adopted the html5 + webm standard. I hope that now IE9 is around and firefox 4,5,6 is also cooking up and of course chrome more content providers will switch to html5 but for now we have to suffer with flash.
So.... how is flash doing these days on os x? I posted here because i'm particularly interested in the air as i will be getting the refresh. I understand no visual changes will be present and although the CPU is different i expect the internals and cooling to be similar. So i guess my question is more specific to the air for the heat and noise it may generate watching flash.
How is youtube on CPU for example, or other flash video sites. I use BBC Iplayer and a lot of other VOD services here in the UK. It won't prevent me from buying the air but i'm curious to know how the air + os x + flash handles the flash video in terms of CPU usages, heat and fan noise.
Thank you

And in general use, browsing, email, skype, docs, photos, music... how hot and noisy does the air get? I'm still baffled how they can get so much into so little space without heat and fan issues! Excellent engineering. I understand that the refresh runs different voltages, cpu and gpu so things might be slightly different but your help and advice on past airs will give me a good idea.
