Okay, I was doing a regular virus scan in Windows when all of a sudden my computer gets super hot. Of course, I turned it off right away. The fans didn't even come on. I'm going to run a hardware test in a moment. This was very strange, since in Mac OS X it didn't get much hotter than normal just a half hour ago when I used it. Any ideas of what it could be?

PS: The antivirus I was running did find a virus. Could a virus have affected temperature regulation?

UPDATE: No trouble was found in the hardware test. Must be a problem in Windows. I'm gonna finsih running the virus scan, despite my better judgement.

Grr, if it wasn't for school, I'd have dumped Windows before I even installed it.
