Would an apple service provider or apple replace my MPB or give me a new logic board because of the heat issues? It's about 2 months old already.

Depends how bad the heat issues are but at a guess, I'd say you've got a slim chance at best. I guess you could always take it in and try for yourself though. :)

The heat is pretty bad. I don't know how it is compared to other MBPs. The temperature is 145 Degrees Fahrenheit.

Is that the outside of the case or is that the CPU temperature? If it is the outside of the case you might have a good chance because at 140 degrees is the point which the temperature can begin to burn you. If it is the CPU that is at 145 then you are probably out of luck because the outside case probably isnt hot enough to burn someone.

i'd say that considering heat is a common trait of the MBPs, as well as the PBs before them, you won't have much luck getting apple to 'fix' it for you.. what could they do? give you a new one that will invariably be just as hot? not likely.

I'm getting a new logic board. Apple said the repair would take to long, so I went to Techknowsphere, and they ordered a new logic board. They said one other person came in with the issue, and the logic board fixed it for them.

I'm getting the temperature on CoreDuoTemp, which the temp. of the CPU (i think)

Once the computer has been on for a while, the outside heats up too, there's a pool of sweat on the computer once I'm done with it.
