Heavy Usage

Hi all I consider myself a heavy iPhone operator and basically use my device as a laptop. I'm involved in many forums and frequent them and post alot as well as email correspondence and instant chat for my side business.

Where I work I can access wifi easily and turn off 3g cause I don't need it where I work and when I'm at work.

My question is the iPhone built for heavy usage?
