looking for a way to convert .mp4 to .gif. don't say after effects, please. or at least a way to get an imaging sequence out of the .mp4. i really don't want to have to screencap 57 seconds worth of frames and cut them all. thanks sooooooo much.

adobe premiere should be able to do it (well it did last time I checked anyways) - I would assume final cut would probably be able to do it as well. You export as a gif file instead of a video file format.

You can export an image sequence using QT Pro....

then you can make a gif from the sequence in... Photoshop?? i think...?

where can you get QT Pro? and you can get anything from that adobe suite right, because CS4 is primed to come out soon.

qt pro - quicktime pro is from apple (buy it from them )
Adobe - yes all is available and you could try a demo first
