So today out of all days my 3g is acting up, first no one can hear me talk, I hear everyone talk, I tryed using the speakers to stop working. So I figure there was dust at the bottom of the phone, guess what there isn't anything. No water damage or anything. This is a brand and I mean brand new iPhone! WTF I'm getting annoyed with this now. It was working perfectly yesterday. I was going to restore the iphone but if i make an appointment with my genius bar they won't be able to help me. There dush bags! I need my phone oh and no one can hear me from my head set too. Should I just deal without using a phone until I make my appointment or should I just restore?

Try plugging in the headphones, and use them, then disconnect the headphones, and see if that helps. Otherwise, it may just be defective. You can always try a software restore through iTunes, just to be sure, but I would get it replaced.

It can't hurt to restore, and really doesn't take too long. Whether you feel like doing it is up to you.

It's not a hassel to restore or anything. But I'll restore and see if there's any difference.
