Hello.

First of all I`m sorry if any bother to ask dumb questions.

1. Is it better to have the latest updated software on the iphone?

2. I have a 1.1.1 iphone, bought it already unlocked. Recently the iphone cannot sync via itunes. There was a similar thread about this and a moderator said to restore 1.1.1 back again. Would that involve re-unlocking the iphone?

3. Can I break my iphone if I unlock it bad / try to update and so on?

Thanks and have a happy new year!

1. Depends on why you want it. Is there any funcuality in 1.1.2 that you can't live without? Remember it can't be unlocked yet, so you'll have to use that specific cellprovider.

2. Probably.

3. Yes. For example, if the battery would be completely empty while in the middle of the process of changing the firmware, you'll have a very expensive piece of unusable phone. There's always a risk.

Good luck!
