Hello: Oh, I'm sharing my problem. I hope you can help me. I'm leaving the video so you can see what I'm experiencing. I hope someone can help me, please. I have a late 2010 iMac with Catalina and I wanted to install Sonoma. I'm following the steps, but when it's copying Sonoma to the already formatted USB, it gives the error you see in the video. Can you help me, please? Because so far everything is fine. I tried with another USB and it gives the same error.

How old are the drives that you are using? Any time I had issues mounting/unmounting it was usually due to a cheap or failing drive. I remember installing OCLP on someone's computer and I had to try 3 different drives before it was successful.

What do you mean by drives? I tried two USB drives that I have that are almost new, from good brands. I have a 120GB one from a good brand. Can I try that one? The error is coming from the USB drive, right?
