Patience not being a virtue I possess, I immediately pwned the 2G iPhone I'd originally jailbroken/unlocked using Ziphone the moment Dev Team issued the big release. Unfortunately, I did everything as instructed and am now left with an iPhone that a) can't access T-Zones (I've read all the "helpful" threads on this and, yeah, I reinstalled the T-Zone hack, but to no avail), b) has lost all access to the contacts stored on my SIM (yeah, I know, I'm an idiot for neglecting to back them up on my MacBook), and, worst of all, c) for whatever reason I'm now unable to drag and sync media files to my iPhone on iTunes. Meaning, if I click and drag, say, an album to the iPhone icon there's no little green plus sign and nothing happens. Which is of course the most heartbreaking part of this. I mean, what was I thinking? I had a perfectly good, fully functional iPhone with plenty of useful apps running 1.1.4 on T-Mobile. All this frustration just to have access the stupid app store!

Anyway, that's where I stand. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Update: It's strange but it seems T-Zones has randomly decided to work, so I guess that problem's solved. But the other two (lost contacts and an inability to sync music, podcasts, videos, etc with iTunes) still remain.

Again, thanks for any suggestions.

There is an "import from SIM" button in the settings menu - find it yourself!

As for dragging songs on the phone - you have to chose to manually manage the iPhone!

It was exactly the same on 1.1.4 so I don't see how you can get confused here!

Wow, it was late and I was sleep deprived and not thinking clearly. I deserve the sarcastic response (seriously)! Thanks!
