Help! 2 of everything now

Please someone help me.
I normally before on OS 4.3.5 sync my photos from my PC from 1 folder and it gives me 57 pics total.
Eversince OS5 upgrade i now have 2 files with 2 lots of 57 photos
1 from my PC with that folders title and 1 set of pics put into Photo Library on iphone.
I cannot get rid of the 2nd duplicate folder.If i untick sync photos it wipes both folders off and i have no photos.Then re tick sync photos and iam back to 2 folders again.Its really begining to ********** annoy me as i don,t want 2 folders with duplicate photos in.You cannot delete the 2nd folder off your phone.
I have got a 3GS by the way.
Please please somebody help,many thanks in advance.

it did something similar to me with my calendars. had double everything for every day. i realized there is a new calendar - the iphone calendar and the iCloud calendar. Both were checked under "calendars" and that's why it was double. I bet it does something similar with photos. You probably have the icloud folder checked along with the iphone picture library folder, which makes for a duplicate.

Look to see what folders are being shown. With the new iCloud folder/library it leaves a lot of room for items being duplicated when it comes time to view them.

I don't have a iCloud ID and I'm not photo streaming either. Just 2 of everything. It's annoying I want to delete duplicates but I can't it just removes both instead. Hope someone can help with this.

Got round this problem today by downloading an App from itunes called "Photosafe".
Its a password protected album where you can store all your photos.You can import from your normal photo library into this App.Like me i then deleted my "Duplicate" photo libraries and then all your pics stay in the App and all your photo library ones are deleted.I found it easier this way than having 2 identical files with photos in.I only have 57 photos at the moment so its no hard work but at least you can have just 1 album of photos and not another duplicate albeit password protected which is no harm.
Maybe this can help some of you until OS 5 gets sorted out.
