MP 1,1-5,1 Help 5.1 upgrade to high sierra and firmware MP51.0089.B00 not updating

I have a 4,1 firmware updated to MP51.007F.B03 with El Capitan installed. The update to this firmware worked fine but when I try to install high sierra firmware, when I reboot and hold power button it does not go into the firmware update mode and is still stuck on 007F.B03 version. I have GT120 installed. Any help? Can I go directly from current version to 0089.B00 firmware? What is the trick. Thank you
