Hello everyone, I'm new to the MAC world, I had the opportunity to purchase an iMAC 12.1 2011 a1311, I already exchanged the HDD for an SSD and I have 16GB of RAM. However, I would like to know what else I can change, I've already been through the forum, and I saw that I can put an i7 or a xeon, which I prefer the xeon, and in your opinion, which processor model and which video card can I use ?

I would suggest core i7-2600s and Quadro K2100m for the conservative aspect.
If you think you have enough skill and can take the risk, then Xeon e3-1275 and GTX770m or modded WX4150.

Thanks for answering, one question, would the Xeon work with the Nvidia Quadro K2100m?

I don't know. Haven't tried the 21.5" yet.
They work fine in iMac 2011 27", though.
