Help about i5 Imac

Hi everybody, So I have a Retina 5K 27-inch, 2017 Imac With a 3.8Ghz quad-core Intel Core i5. The version I have is a fusion. I bought the iMac for music production purposes. I would like to know, seeing how Fusion Drive is a combination of SSD and HDD, How much SSD is contained in my iMac with the specifications of the model I gave? I was told quite a while ago that it could be somewhere between 128 and 256 SSD. But then I asked an employee in a shop selling iMacs recently and he told me the SSD of this model is 15 gigabytes. He also said that the 15 gigabytes is stronger than the 256 SSD. Is this true? How accurate is that?

Depends on the model. A 21.5" 1TB Fusion has 32GB of PCI-e Flash Drive. The 2TB+ 27" model has 128GB PCI-e Flash Drive to be precise. Any employee advising one SSD being 'stronger' than any other is detailing the thickness of his head!

The little 2 simply means there is a footnote on the page where you read that, and would not to be interpreted as a "square". The footnote likely explains that "2TB is 2 trillion bytes, actual formatted storage is less."

If the amount of space on your hard disk is 2Tb you have 128GB SSD, if it's 1Tb, you have 32Gb. If you have an icon on your desktop (or Finder window) labelled 'Macintosh HD' - right click on that do 'Get Info' and it will tell you the capacity

Ok. I was told that for music production, the minimum of SSD should be 256 SSD. Well, it seems I am below the minimum for music production
