Okay so I accidentally downloaded 6.1.3 OTA on my iPhone 5 however it didn't install due to at the time I was under 50% battery. Can I still jailbreaking just don't install it on the phone and I will be fine right?

Yes, you can still JB. I accidentally did this and never downloaded it. (Still on 6.0) The badge icon will stay there but you're fine.

You can use iFile and delete the IPSW install file from your device. The evasion jailbreak will disable OTA so you won't have to worry any more.

Thanks you. I will use springtomize 2 to hide notifications on the settings app.

Seriously u haven't been a long iOS user anyone knows that a notification pops up. Stop being a troll and move on with ur life.

Honestly, I don't think he's that much of a troll. When you jailbreak, most people tend to be more careful about these updates related stuff (unless they are clueless about jailbreaking). I'm sure most people install software update killer or something (before evasi0n disabled OTA daemons or something)

Do you happen to know where it downloads the ipsw file to?

I thought I had read that the evasion jailbreak includes a feature that prevents OTA updates?
Is that not the case? I could've imagined it, I guess ;-)
There used to be Cydia tweaks for this also, are any of them updated for iOS 6.x?
I'm occasionally absent minded and would cry if I lost my JB!

The evasi0n jailbreak DOES involve a feature that prevents your phone from detecting that there is a new version out. Say you open settings -> general -> updates. It'll be stuck at that spinning circle forever

Interesting, I didn't know you can download but not install iOS updates OTA. I always thought that it would be installed automatically.

I think the reason it didn't automatically install for the OP was because his battery level was not high enough. If you click the notification and have a high enough battery level I would assume that installs automatically. I don't know for sure though. I never install OTA upgrades due to the fact that my phone is jailbroken.

Your correct. But I wasn't jailbroken at the time I am still thinking about it.
