Was working through Boot camp assistant on a 11" Air,
it partitioned the SSD and I inserted the Windows DVD.

Then the Air shutdown, and will not power up?

Any suggestions to bring it to life.

Thanks, yes tried the usual things, appears to be dead.

Screen is just black, and stays black, despite keys pressed etc.

Only light is on the mag power adapter.

Maybe try a PMU reset:

Found these instructions from here:
In order to reset the PMU of your MacBook Air follow these steps.
1. Turn off MacBook Air.
2. Connect the power adapter and plug it in.
3. On the LEFT side of the keyboard (Yes, the left side only), hold down Shift, Option and Control.
4. Press the power button.
5. Wait 5 seconds, then release all keys.
6. Push power button to turn your MacBook Air back on.
Caution, make sure the MacBook Air is completely shut down before reseting the PMU to avoid damage to your file system.

Thanks...
no luck appears it just rolled over and died at the thought I was installing Windows on it :(

Just got it yesterday too,
think I'll just return it and wait to see what the update brings.

Wish I could wipe the SSD, maybe a trip to Apple and they would do that, I did not buy it from Apple?
