Help!!! American Mcgee Alice hates my new Macbook!!

When I try launching my American McGee Alice game on a Macbook - Leopard, it makes a buzzing sound and I have to force quit. I downloaded the Universal Binary Patch and the NOCD (as indicated in some websites), but the problems continues. What can I do??

Please help!!! I REALLY want to play this game. I'll send you homebaked muffins if you solve my problem, pretty please!!!

The exact same thing happened to me w/Jedi Academy. I think it's because the Universal patch isn't made for Leopard

But I know for sure that some people do play it on Leopard. There's a guy who posted a video on Youtube, digit "McGee Alice + Leopard" and it's there.
