Help: AppleTV won't completely sync my Music library

I need some help from experts here.

Issue:
My 7 month old AppleTV won't completely sync my Music library.

I have 26GB of music, and only 6GB sync.

Everything is latest updates.

I did a complete restore to factory settings on the AppleTV, and totally re-sync last night.
Aperture3 photos all sync, the TV shows I select sync, but Music is not syncing correctly.

Advice appreciated. I bought this to replace my Sony 400 disc CD changer....now it's not working....

when I did a factory re-set it went back to OS 2.4, and did not install 3.0.2, which I just did....now I'll shut it down and see if re-sync happens correctly....ongoing saga....

What format is the audio in, can you screenshot a get info pane from a file that is not sync'd? For example your most excellent ace of base album?

It sync'd songs at various bit rate(128, 160, 256 vbr)/kind (aac, mpeg, purchased aac, etc)

Here are some more screen shots:
I did a complete factory restore, than updated 2.4 > 3.0.2 before connecting to iTunes (9.0.2)

I had everything turned off, then turned on only Sync Music entire music library. Then, it started syncing only 888 items....Then I looked at the iTunes library and saw few items had check next to name.
I think iTunes is using that to tell it what to sync to, even though I have entire library selected!! A bug in AppleTV<>iTunes maybe?

I'm going to try and filter by just those checked items in the iTunes library, see if the = 888, if so that's it!

So, the check box must be it, I'm turning them all on!

As Charlie Brown said...."That's it!"
I needed to have check box by the song in iTunes for it to sync to AppleTV.
Not clear to me at all, bu anyway now I'm moving on.

My AppleTV isn't connected right now, and I'm at work, so I can't verify.
Isn't there a checkbox on the "Summary" tab to "Sync only checked songs" that you can select/deselect to behave the way you want?

Or is that only for an iPod/iPhone?
