Somehow, someway, while in the same case it’s been in from day one, I took my phone out the case to replace the screen protector from just natural bubbling over time…and I realized my back case was completely shattered. Zero effects to functionality of the phone.

I’m due for an upgrade and plan to get the 16 PM, but what’s the smartest thing to do with my 14 PM?

1. Get it repaired for $170-$250 and trade it in?

2. Get it repaired and endure the hassle of selling it on eBay.

3. Don’t get it repaired and sell it on eBay.

4. Any other suggestions?

$170-$250? Apple is charging $549 for that without AppleCare. If it was the 15 Pro Max, then it would be cheaper since they made the repair process easier.

If you’re talking about third party repair, I would be careful about trading it into Apple. If that’s the route you’re taking then definitely sell it on eBay.
