I Just Gor Hooked To A Cable Modem From Time Warner.
I Can Access Internet Fine. But None Of My Apple Applications, Such As Itunes, Soft Ware Update Can Connect To The Internet, Which Was Not A Problem When I Used A Phone Line?

Appreciate Any Assistance

Oh crap!

your computer has the AADWR (apple apps dont work right) disease!
Quick! shoot it, burn it, or throw it out the window before it blows up :D

just kidding, of course!

what OS version are you running ?

Please say you didnt let the tech from TW anywhere near your mac....

Did you reboot after getting the initial connection ?

sounds like a firewall/port problem.

Check your System Preferences. Click the "Network" button thingy and then click "Network Port Configurations" on the second drop-down box and make sure that your ethernet is the first device in the list.
