A looooong time ago I rented the movie "Rio" directly from my iPod. It never completely downloaded (some network error I assume) but now I can't get rid of it at all. After countless restores and attempts to remove it, but it keeps showing up and NEVER properly finishes downloading. In addition, I think this is reason why I have so much space being used by "Other" on my iPod Touch. I've attached screen shots describing my issue. Is there a fix for this (I'm comfortable with Jailbreaking, maybe a location that I can go to using SSH or similar)?

Sorry not to have an answer for you. It sounds very frustrating.

If you'll drop the 2 new pix that you added down onto the line below your first 3, it'll be easier for readers to view your post without having to scroll across the page. :)

Is there an icon for the movie? If so, you could press/hold and click delete. This will keep iTunes from re-installing it. Once you delete an app from the iDevice, you either have to re-download/install it from App Store or check it on the list of apps in iTunes before syncing.

If there's no icon for the movie, you might uninstall the movie app, do a hard reset (press power and home keys at same time, hold until white apple shows up). Then reinstall the app from the App Store.
