Resolved Help: Can't find source of sound.

So I finally upgraded to mountain line today. everything is going great. haven't had any major problems. Only thing is that i constantly hear a swoosh sound. I have no idea what it is and don't know how to stop it. It is getting rather frustrating and annoying.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you


Edit: Turned off alerts for buddies signing in and out of imessage and that did the trick.

Sending email makes that sound.

Mail and messages are open, but it happens when I am not actually using them. just when I am surfing the web or if my laptop is just sitting there and I am not using it.
