I'd check the reviews on amazon. If I recall correctly, they're pretty favorable.

Just make sure it's compatible with your MBP. I will say that I had 32 GB (4 x 8GB) of Vengeance RAM in my desktop PC, but I had a stick die on me about 3 months after I purchased it so I'm down to 16 GB (problems with using 3 sticks and performance).

I'd suggest look at Kingston, they have always been good to me. Never had a problem with GSkill either but friends of mine at the computer store said they've seen problems with it.

You could even use much faster RAM like the Kingston HyperX Impact with 2133 MHz. It's working fine in my Late 2011 MBP since about 10 months now.

I was wondering the same. But I noticed a speed increase compared to the 16 GB 1333 MHz before and ran Geekbench with both back then. The memory speed was much faster. I found the screenshots in an old thread.
- Yes. If I remember rightly, you and I and a few others had a thread about it a while ago.
Your increase is compared to 1333 MHz, though, which is below the 1600 MHz capability of the machine, so an increase is to be expected.
