Help configuring a joystick

Hi everybody.

I bought a joystick today, but using USB Overdrive I was able to configure all the buttons except for the "arrows" up, down, left and right. In this joystick, those arrows consist of one button, so that might the reason?

Is this a joystick problem? Did I need to buy a joystick with analog sticks?
