help connecting a Mac Pro video output to a TV

I have a Mac Pro 2.66 ghz dual-core Intel Xeon that I am trying to connect to a CRT television so I can watch video on my TV and free up my monitor to do work on. The TV only has a 3 rca inputs (video, audio-left & audio-right).

This is new territory for me and what I've found on the internet hasn't proven helpful. Even if I knew the type of cable/connectors to get, I don't know how to port video to the TV. I am a bit lost.

Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.

You'll need to convert the video signal with something like this right here, depending on what output on the video card you plan to use, and what kind of TV signal you want.

it would be great if you mention what graphics card you have in your machine as apple says this is for a Mac Pro with a ATI X1900 XT.

After connecting, the screen should be detected my the Mac Pro. In the system preferences under Displays you can set everything up. Choose resolutions, etc. Id say do not mirror displays but use an extended desktop, so your CRT acts as a second independent screen. You can then arrange how the screens are on the desk (in the arrangement section). From there move the video you want to display on the CRT onto it and hit full screen or just make the video fit the screen.
