Hi All,

Was hoping for some help diagnosing a kernal panic as it is slightly above my pay grade.

Some background, this 3,1 Mac Pro has been having repeated kernal panics for some time - it would start up, hang, and restart itself, sometimes 3 or 4 times before eventually being OK.

We had USB3 and ESATA cards installed, which we've tested and removed to try to rule them out - even with them uninstalled, the issue remains.

I was hopeful someone could translate this kernal panic and let me know what the issue is?

Thanks for the response - how would I find that out? Where can I find a list of network interfaces?

System preferences/Network or "ifconfig" in the terminal.

This error is network device driver related, almost in 100% of cases. See what network interface is named "en6" in your system, and start from here.

This is what ifconfig revealed:

Any further advice?

I realize I'm digging up and old thread but ran into this problem.

**I was having issues with the same type of error using my MBP 2016 running MacOS High Sierra. Looks like mine was EN6 which I identified was the LAN connection which is active when I'm using my USB-C dock (USB C Hub, dodocool 7-in-1 Type C Adapter), that has built in ethernet. My MBP when It was docked I noticed would not wake up and therefore nothing could be seen on my monitor, when I opened the lid the MBP would appear to be off and would restart. I would receive the panic error upon logging in, which after reading this thread I identified EN6 as the culprit. I have since disabled the network LAN port (Use Wifi only) which was active when using the hub and I'll see if that fixes it. Thanks again for the suggestion.
