So... I set out to replace the BR2032 battery on my new-to-me mid-2010 Mac Pro. For no good reason, I guess, other than I've been hanging around enough vintage Mac forums with exploding batteries to think that this might be good preventative.
Now, to get to the battery, I had to take out the two 5770 graphic cards. Put them back in, I think everything is right, plug the monitor back in, and... it chimes, but no display on the monitor. I've tried various ports on the two cards, nothing. Tried taking the cards back out, reseating them, still nothing.
Thoughts? I'm assuming I haven't reinstalled something just right... but what?
(I will say, I have bad luck with big PCI-E cards. Have had trouble on Windows machines as well...)
