Hello all,

I am trying to disable promiscuous mode on my NIC interface, en0 to be exact. I am trying to do this on a Mac running OS X 10.15.6. However, I do not have access to any third-party programs, firmware, or external devices like dongles or adapters. Therefore, any solutions have to deal with stock hardware for solutions.

Thanks anyone for the help in advance,

- HPH

The wifi interface won't be in promiscuous mode unless some special software is running to put it in that mode to begin with. Or you ran the Sniffer tool in the Network Diagnostics program. Promiscuous mode isn't the default state in a stock setup. What makes you think the interface is in promiscuous mode? If you turn wifi off and back on again, it should go back to the default state unless you have a modified system.
