Help: Display gone into standby whilst clean install

Hi,
Hope someone can help.

I am doing a clean install of macOS Sierra via USB 3.0 installer.

Have erased with Disc Utilities.

Started install and after 15 mins., or so, Samsung display (connected DVI via the adapter), has gone into standby.

Will the display eventually come back as macOS gets futher into the install? Or have I got a problem?

First time I have done this so not sure. Many thanks for any replies.

Yes, it should. But it can also be, that the computer has gone to sleep. Try to click or press a key on your keyboard.
