So, I have a strange problem: in Network preferences, the ethernet connection thinks it is wireless, and the wireless connection thinks it is ethernet. For the screenshot below, I was connected via wifi but OS 10.8.1 thinks it is an ethernet connection.

Any ideas about how to fix this? I'm having trouble connecting to my wifi at work, and my Time Machine backups have stopped working. (Time Machine reports that the sparsebundle is "already in use".)

Thanks!

Guess that's not why my time machine isn't working and wifi at work is screwed up, though. I was hoping this would fix those other issues.
