I don't know if any of you can help me but I need help identifying a font I found in an ad.

Its the red font I need help identifying.

That could be any compressed heavy Sans. Except it's not Helvetica Compressed.

Could be a version of Franklin Gothic Condensed judging by the shape of the '2 and the $'

Edit: But then again, the lighter versions have curved strokes on the '2'. So maybe not...

It even looks as though it's been horizontally scaled.
 
Agreed it's not Helvetica. Is this the only sample of the text you have? You might want to try Linotype's Font Finder, which asks a series of questions about the fonts and gives you candidate fonts.

It does appear as those it's been artificially compressed, especially looking at the tracking of the two "F" characters.
 
Yeah, see the 2? It's not quite the same but you're right... it's prob. not that important.
