Hi guys, kind of a stupid question. Just yesterday, when I connected to the 'Net, it tells me I got a TON of updates (to get to 10.2.8). I say, ok, but then it asks for my p/w--and then it hits me. Since getting the iBook several weeks ago, I have now forgotten the p/w!

Well, going through help tells me to put in OSX disc and say "reset p/w"...unfortunately all I have in the box is the "upgrade" install 10.3 discs

Will these function as an "OSX disc" that will let me reset my p/w? Or am I out of luck?

try using the 10.3 disks, in the menu's (I don't remember exactly where) there is a password reset option.

You should have the restore disks if you bought the computer from Apple, they will definitely have the password reset utility.
