Help getting Pre-Paid Plan! please

Can you please help me getting the pre-paid plan??? i heard lot of people had trouble with the 999's trick...but for some went ok...
So i don't really know what to do!
Maybe there is a new SSn that works better??? or maybe it's just a matter of time, meaning that if you use the trick really late in the day (10pm) it works ok???

I activated mine yesterday (Sunday, 5:00PM) and was able to get the prepaid plan. I used 999-99-1234.

I've been working on my iPhone for past 2 days, 9999 is just not working. I rang AT&T CSR and they keep tell me that I need to go back to AT&T store to active it.

I just activated my iPhone few mins ago by follow your post. Finally I get my iPhone prepaid plan. It works!!
