I tried searching for the answer on the forum because I'm sure it's been covered but couldn't find anything. Anyway I am on Beta 5 so my Itunes thinks I have the current version. Is there a download link for the .ispw so that I can update to the final version or is there any other way?

It thinks you have the latest version because you do. The build that was released is the same as the update. If you feel like you are missing something you can restore, but it is a waste of time
He has Beta 5, which is not the final version, the GM is. OP, restore and see what happens.
I have Beta 5 though, not the GM version. And also, I tried restoring but it saying "There was a problem downloading the iPhone software for the iPhone. The requested resource was not found."
Get the GM from a torrent, which is the final version released today, 7a341.

I have had the same problem with my iPhone (3.0 Beta 5).
I can confirm the following works:
Downloaded the torrent for the Goldmaster(ispw).
Started iTunes, connected iPhone, clicked on "Check for Updates" while holding the ALT key and selected the downloaded ispw file.
Now my build version is 7A341
I can hardly wait till Friday... ^_^
