So my Mac has really nothing on it. I have parallels and windows on it. But I'm going to install my ssd and install OS X on it from usb when I start up holding down option key. Once it's all done I'm going to erase my hdd and reinstall parallels on hdd and windows. I'm then going to install windows office on my ssd. That's about it. What do you guys think? I'm not doing a fusion drive.

Not bad are you installing the Data Doubler from OWC? if so be careful putting in the rubber grommets on the bracket you don't want to break that sensor on there. Just take your time with the install. Best of luck
