Help: how do you share your location??

For the past 2 days I have been trying to set up share my location with family.
Immediate family that is, kids and wife.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to share our location.

I've searched, watched videos, and still nothing.

Apple ID - Find My - Share My location is on
Privacy - Location Services -On -

Unless I missed some super secret hidden toggle, I think I turned on every possible share location to on.

When I go to share my location on Find My app, the family member will show up as sharing.
But I get the no location found error message.

I've turned on/off my iPhone and still nothing.

We all have 13s and fully updated.

I'm about to chuck these phones out the window.

Help???

Go into settings, Apple ID. Then find my, then select the person you want to share location with and then share my location under them.

yeah i had tried that as well.
it "says" i'm sharing my location but nothing actually shows.

If I go find my phone I see the location of the people shared with and all their gadgets.

I *think* I figured it out.

There was a super secret toggle I hadn't turned on

Settings/Privacy/Location Services/System Services/Share My Location

I toggled that on and so far it's working with another iPhone.

Just need to share it with the other 2 phones now to make sure it works.
