first of all i wanna thank some of the guys who helped me with activating and unlocking the OTB 1.1.3 iphone gift for my brother..

now i wanna ask what are the step by step i need to do to jailbreak my virgin 1.1.3 4GB iphone using Ziphone v2.4.. i got it day 1... i never hack the phone before.. and can you tell me what are the probable problems i may encounter during jailbreaking and what are the possible solutions...

thanks in advance..

If all you are doing is jailbreaking, just check jailbreak, and when everything is done in about 2 minutes, you should have a jailbroken iPhone with no problems and with Installer.app

Well I think with the newer versions, it does everything by itself, but if you need to take your phone back for repair, all you need to do is sync first to backup your data, then turn off the phone and unplug it from the cpu. Then hold the home button and plug in the usb cable which is connected to the CPU, and then you are in recovery mode. Just restore it, setup as your existing iPhone and you should be good to go.
