Help - I am getting pop up error messages that won't go away

Mac mini 2014, Monterey 12.4, 8 GB memory

The popup appears over all other screens, lasts for about 10 seconds, reappears after another 10 seconds, cannot be closed or relocated, and blocks keyboard input. It looks like this:

In Safari, there is another pop up behind this one and it looks like this:

Sorry for poor images, I could not use screen shot and had to use iPhone camera.

This issue just started after I synced this Mac mini with a Mac book air M1 using iCloud. I have no issues with the air.
When all apps are closed (except finder) the pop up persists.

Suspect malware, but I have Malware bytes installed. I have never had any malware on any of my Apple devices.

Any and all help appreciated.

just curious, have you tried rebooting? and have you done a new run with malwarebytes, just to check?...

The first may be malware, if you check this and other articles; as @fisherking suggested, run Malwarebytes:

The second appears to be some sort of adware/malware also. Check this thread, EtreCheck detected and fixed what seems to be a similar problem, but you definitely should run Malwarebytes:

I ran malwarebytes (free) and that solved the problem.

TrendMicro has Anti Virus for 20.00 a year, seems to work well for me. but yes it's a virus/malware.
