iPhone Help I deleted my iPhone...

It's not.
Those who are familiar with it will tell you "how easy" it is. Many iPhone users cannot even figure out how to use iTunes or iCloud. There's a mess of devices out there that have never been backed up.
Introducing someone to a way to hack their software and then give them full control to destructively delete whatever they want or install dozens of conflicting and incompatible tweaks leads to trouble.
Tell me about it.
All these "accidental" deletes and updates to 6.1.3 too

And yet when I advise some that they should stay away from jailbreaking due to "lack of technical skill/knowhow" they are offended

lol...!! exactly.
apparently i "offended" couple of my collegues after showing them my jailbroken iphone, and them pestering me to teach them how.
PS: i did teach them. they messed up their ph & asked me to teach them again. i refused.
An unintended consequence of making jailbreaking easier.
With the best of intentions, the jb dev teams wanted to make their jb program 'idiot proof' and all they did was make jb more susceptible to idiots.
Ah yes, nothing like a nice call to suicide as a way to brighten up the morning!

Jailbreaking is just one symptom of the downside of the advancement of technology.
In today's age, technology has made doing a number of things much easier. GPS has replaced maps, using your phone or a device to order pizza online or book a hotel room has replaced calling a phone number. Time Machine on the Mac has made backups as easy as designating a drive and clicking a button. All transparently "easy" to the user.
The downside (as I mentioned) to this is that making things easier has also made them easier for stupid/ignorant people to screw up - and screw it up beautifully. Because it's so easy now there is a minimal to zero requirement to even understand the basics of what you're doing. Everyone wants easy. They don't want to have to think about it because they're lazy or busy or both.
Those of us who understand, know that it really isn't easy. There's a whole bunch of stuff going on in the background that has been hidden from the user so it LOOKS easy. In my profession (Graphic Designer) Adobe has made the creation of a PDF ridiculously easy. The result is that I deal with a ton of badly made, difficult to work with junk that gets sent to me as "Camera Ready". The user is happy and arrogant because they "made" a PDF, but I deal with the junk that comes out the other end because it wasn't made RIGHT!
No one wants to take the time to understand what they are doing and why it works the way it does. And so, we have these problems. Its a vicious circle because we then make it even EASIER and try to idiot proof stuff and people then find NEW ways to screw it up.
I just replied to a user over at the Sprint BAW forums. Sprint is guilty of many crimes (as I said there), but she's blaming Sprint for a defective battery on her iPhone and wants to leave. Apparently she's too dumb to understand the concept of a warranty and that Apple makes her iPhone and therefore Sprint has nothing to do with her battery issues!
I for one believe that if you're too stupid or lazy to understand you have no business owning anything tech. People and companies pay too much (time, money or both) in cleaning up the mess you create because you either can't or won't get it.
P.S. My use of the word "you" in this post does not mean us (people who know what they are doing).
