help! i forgot my password to my user account

I can't remember what the password was because I stopped using that laptop for a while.
And now I can't update my computer or do anything and it's really slow.
I'm not sure what to do please help

Wow, that was a quick solution. Nice find Miles.

I was thinking about logging into an administrative account, but I thought one might be out of luck if it was the admin account. That seems a little too easy. Especially if someone steals MY Mac!
