Hey,

I'm just watching videos on youtube and on MSN Messenger and thats IT!

And my MacBook Pro is on 73degrees!

THATS REALLY HOT!

isnt it?

HELP!

Flash is a real resource hog. Try not streaming youtube and see what kind of temps show off.

Also try smcFanControl and set your fans to 3000 RPM. I get 50 C streaming youtube, break.com and running vlc at the same time.

I ran smcfanControl at 6,000rpm for 5 minutes, cooled it down to 43 degrees and seems stable now!

Damn, I got really worried then! - How on earth does it get SO HOT so QUICK

The fans didn't push in at all until you forced ?

I recommend configuring smc to run at ~3000 RPM when in AC and 3500 RPM when charging. On battery you can easily run at 2000 RPM and your temps will still be ~50 C.
