Hello I updated my 2018 iPad Pro to the latest version. iPadOS 16.x.x whatever it is now. and I really like it. Stage manager it awesome

But what’s odd is that I get random sounds happening seemingly whenever?

I’ll be working or watching something and then suddenly the video gets quiet and I hear a little two-tone sound from the ipad like I’m getting a notification. The thing is I am not getting any notifications? Where is the sound coming from? Did they add something in iPadOS 16 that I don’t know about that might be making this sound??

please help

"Two tone sound" reminds me of the sound that it makes when you plug it into a charger. Maybe it's that?

No it’s like a sound that makes two different tones (however I don’t think it’s the notification that’s actually called Two-tone)

It happens randomly, whether it’s plugged in or not

I believe it’s the ”Hello” tone even though I have NOTHING attached to the “Hello” tone, so I really don’t know what’s making the tone happen… it’s odd and frustrating especially when it happens during a certain part of a movie because it lowers the movie volume to make room for the tone.

Very weird. I also wish Apple would get rid of that whole only-one-audio-can-play-at-a-time thing.

Oh, okay! Go ahead.

Of course you can! The iPad is designed for multita-

Sorry, the iPad is not an advanced enough device for two audio tracks to play at once. Please purchase a Mac for that.

I suggest you apply and apple for real. I think that’s a stellar idea
