Hi
I bought new macbook today and i download windows xp from MSDN on my windows pc and burned it on a dvd then i started bootcamp on my mac and after i did partition it said insert the windows disk and hit start i did that but it didn't recognize the disk....i'm confused what to do..any help be great..i looked into other threads but couldn't figure out.:(

people I really need help with i also have parallels installed on my macbook so if you have any suggestions in parallels it also fails to run install from cd drive:(

Something's not right. Only the Media edition of Windows XP is too large to fit on a normal CD and ships on two CDs. I don't know what you downloaded from MSDN, but it appears it's not a full install version or either XP Home SP2 or Pro SP2. Are you sure you didn't download a server version or Vista instead?

hey i figured it out i just didn't burned it right i had to burn iso but instead i burned as a regular data..its installed and I love my new macbook
