i have a 16 gb drive i want to do a clean install of yos how do i go about this i tried putting the beta installer on usb but didn't allow me to.

also when the final version is up would i just have to do system updates or a whole new install?sorry new to mac

no thanks also no dvd drive i have a flash drive and want to install from there

From the DiskMakerX "about" page: "To build a bootable disk, you’ll need an 8 GB (minimum) USB thumb key drive, a USB, Firewire or Thunderbolt drive or an SD-Card."

I've used it to make installer flash drives and it works fine.

so im stuck i retsrated held option key

showed 3 drives,my main drive,recovery,the usb,i click the usb then takes me to a screen that said filed to started to something and asked me to select my boot up disk

am i doing something wrong?
