afternoon

I have a brand new iPad Pro 11”, which charges fine using the supplied cable and plug

However no cable will see my MacBook and connect to iTunes

Have reset and trying not to force a wipe and full reset

Any advice?

Apple Logo > hold Option Key > System Information > USB Peripherials

Does your iPad show up there? If so, your Mac recognizes your iPad, but not iTunes.

If no success there as well, are you using a USB C cable or Thunderbolt 3 cable?

The same thing happened when I connected my new iPP to my Mac. There is actually a software download that is required for iTunes to “see” the iPad. However, the popup window indicating this does not seem to load automatically until I restarted my Mac. See uploaded screenshot above.
