Help! My iPad Pro has been doing this for months .. maybe over a year now.

I will open the tv app on my ipad to watch a movie and for some reason it seems to (almost always) set the subtitles to arabic so when the film starts and someone speaks there’s arabic text instead of either no subtitles at all or English (which is usually what I set it to)

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it. I have updated the OS multiple times.

Hi, I have issues also. Now I may be wrong here, as Apple does not seem to know the answer either. Go to Settings>Audio and Video> go down to subtitles. I have audio language set as Default. Then subtitle language set to Off. Now go to a show and when it opens and starts to play go to the drop down menu from the TOP of the screen. Go to AUDIO and I set it to ebnglish. Then move over to Subtitles and I choose OFF. The other choice is AUTO, which not a single Apple Support person can tell me what that does! But frequently I like you have to go back to subtitles and choose off. And then they vanish. Apple TV is a very unfriendly product to work with. My advice then also is to never update it if you like the way it works. All updating has ever done for me is give me a stroke. And I see NO improvments in my ability to watch tv.
